Educator
Michael is a an engaging and dynamic educator in the field of theatre arts. As a teaching artist, he has overseen semesterly classes, workshops, residencies, and private coaching sessions. His main focus is acting technique (incl. Meisner), improv, audition prep etc.

His ultimate focus is simultaneously grounding a student with replicable technique, WHILE ALSO "freeing" students to express themselves creatively by fostering an instinctual relationship to the text and their fellow actors.

He enjoys working with diverse populations and experience levels, including students with special needs. He tailors each session to the needs/dynamics or the group or client.

He worked with Arts Horizons, Black Box Studios, Yeshivat Noam Middle School, and with YACHAD’s improv workshop for adults with special needs.
As a private acting coach he has helped students get accepted to institutions such as NYU Tisch, Montclair State University, and Pace's MFA program, to name a few.
Also of Note: vocal coach/dramaturg for Daya Arts' classical Indian Dance piece, Vaisravana, which premiered in Washington DC at the Prakriti Dance “Festival of Villains.”
