Michael is a versatile director, specializing in new plays as well as the classics. He developed his collaborative style with a strong emphasis on daring ensemble-building and empowering the actor.

In addition to developing new works, he is well-suited to vibrant ensemble pieces, outrageous dark comedies, and hard-hitting dramas. He has either worked on or is enormously well-versed in the works of Shakespeare, Shaw, Shepard, Albee, Bogosian, O'Neill, Ibsen, Brecht, Wilde, McDonagh and others!
